The Organs are the contents within the skeletal muscular container. They support our postural tone, providing volume and organic authenticity to our movement. This workshop with Lisa Clark will explore the movement principles that arise from the organ system. We will focus on the lungs and heart, and the internal buoyancy and support they provide for the upper body - shoulders, arms, head, neck, and spine. Class will explore their role in asanas and everyday movement, and ways to integrate and balance the organs with the musculoskeletal structure.

The workshop draws from the following topics:
• Sequencing movement thru the organs.
• Integration and support of the organs and the skeleton
• Application to asana and sequencing
• Compensatory patterns of the upper body found in the organs
