THE BASIC NEUROCELLULAR PATTERNS WITH AN EMBRYOLOGICAL FOUNDATION IN THE PRACTICE OF YOGA
The Limb Patterns:
Periphery & Connectivity, Moving Into Relationship
Now available in a recorded format.
THIS NEW ONLINE MODULE is a combination of recorded live classes, plus additional recorded yoga classes that help to integrate the material presented, a total of 50+ hours of embodied learning.
The Basic Neurocellular Patterns with an Embryological Foundation in the Practice of Yoga
The Limb Patterns:
Periphery & Connectivity, Moving Into Relationship
This module will build from the Spinal Vertebrate Patterns to the dynamic relationship of the Limb Patterns. These patterns manifest as balance, power, flexibility, strength and stability. They help us to synthesize three-dimensional movement internally within our body and externally through space. When integrated, movement can flow easily from center to periphery, peripheral to center, top to bottom, bottom to top, left and right, right and left. The balance of the body is able to organize multidimensionally around our central axis.
Included In This Course:
RECORDINGS: Five Weekends Live Stream Class / 20 Classes / 38 Hours
Classes are presented live and are interactive. They are an active combination of presentation, somatization and movement exploration, principles of embodiment and application, with time for discussion and questions.
Pre-Recorded Yoga Classes:
75-Minute Classes / 10 Classes / 12+ Hours
These classes are designed to support your continued integration of the BMC℠ & Yoga material presented each weekend. Classes are embodied explorations of yoga with application of principles to asana, breath, meditation, and philosophy. Classes are taught by course faculty.
Basic Neurocellular Patterns, Exploring Developmental Movement
To support your learning we suggest Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen’s book Basic Neurocellular Patterns, Exploring Developmental Movement. Available in print and e-book formats it can be purchased HERE.
WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR?
The principles and techniques learned in this course can be used for personal development and for professional enhancement. We recommended it for anyone interested in movement, dance, yoga, bodywork, somatic studies, education, meditation, and other body-mind disciplines.
No previous experience with BMC℠ or Yoga is necessary for this course.
"The Immersion series has deepened my understanding of natural movement and ways to integrate this into my yoga practice and teaching."
