EMBODYING THE SKELETON AS A SYSTEM OF SPIRALS: A FOUNDATION FOR ASANA, SEQUENCING & ALIGNMENT
The bones, ligaments and tendons create our basic foundation. The bones lever us through space and support our weight in relationship with gravity. Clarifying the skeleton system creates clear dynamic pathways between the spine and limbs, and freedom of the central axis.
This series will explore the connectivity of the skeletal system using Embodied Anatomy, Developmental Movement, and Embryology as a basis of experiencing ourselves in the practice of yoga.
